NI Science Festival is delighted to present a series of short films filmed in January 2021 which allow us to hear direct from scientists working at the Wellcome-Wolfson Institute for Experimental Medicine (WWIEM) at Queen’s University Belfast as they help in the global fight against COVID-19.

All scientists participating in these unique series of interviews have adapted their work during the pandemic and focused their research efforts on improving the understanding of this new disease and the virus that causes it and to support the drive for development of new treatments for patients with COVID-19.  On-going research in the themes of genetics, antibodies, vaccines, and treatments will be showcased throughout the series.
