Seed Sculptures for Wildlife: Workshop

Sunday 25 April, 2.00pm & 3.30pm

Suitability: All Ages (Children must be accompanied by Parent/Guardian)

£3

Spring is a beautiful time of the year to watch wildlife in action and what better way to encourage some of our wildlife into view than by creating somewhere for them to feed. Jasmin Märker an interdisciplinary artist working at cross-sections of bio-art, sculptural installation and nature pedagogy. Using materials such as mycelium (fungus), birdseed and green vegetation Jasmin will help you create a mini sculpture that will invite birds and insects to occupy and transform it. The workshop sessions will be accompanied by a talk, which will provide a deeper insight into Jasmin’s research and inspiration for her work.

Note: the first session is designed to be ASD Friendly.
