Local Waves (Podcast)

Ongoing Throughout The Festival

Suitability: 16 Yrs +

Free.

The Ulster Transport Museum presents Local Waves, a series of four podcasts where we take some time out to interview four local people from across Northern Ireland who interact with the sea in different ways. As we learn about their local waves we will also get an insight into how their activities in the water help with their mental health and re-establish that connection with the sea. At the end of the podcast, relax and listen to the sounds of waves from around our coastline.

This series looks at encouraging people of all abilities to engage with the water on a sensory level using sound as a way of making our local waves more accessible to everyone.

This podcast will be available via the NI Science Festival's brand new podcast channel available on Spotify, Apple and Google Podcasts.
